The work Angel by Roberto Fabelo was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2018. The »bidding war« ended at USD 81,250.00 (€ 69,622.96), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Roberto Fabelo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Perrerío in March last year with an auction result of USD 579,600.00 (€ 522,491.66).

Die Arbeit Angel von Roberto Fabelo wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 69.622,96) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roberto Fabelo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Perrerío im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 579.600,00 (€ 522.491,66).
