Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Broken Cup by Roberto Juárez for USD 11,950.00 (€ 9,012.75). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 16,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Roberto Juárez have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2006 by the work Three Mushrooms at USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,961.43).
