Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chamonix Mont-Blanc, Viiie Olympiade 1924 by Roger Soubie was sold in the Vintage Posters and Olympic Icons auction at Christies in London in April 2012. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,066.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roger Soubie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work De Chamonix Au Montenvers, which sold at auction in January 2014 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,138.89).

Die Arbeit Chamonix Mont-Blanc, Viiie Olympiade 1924 von Roger Soubie wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Vintage Posters and Olympic Icons bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.066,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
