Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2013 Christies in London held the auction The Ski Sale, Travel in Style, which included the work Chamonix-Mont Blanc by Roger Soubie. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,626.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roger Soubie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work De Chamonix Au Montenvers, which sold at auction in January 2014 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,138.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Ski Sale, Travel in Style durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chamonix-Mont Blanc von Roger Soubie zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.626,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Roger Soubie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit De Chamonix Au Montenvers beobachtet, die im Januar 2014 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.138,89) versteigert wurde.
