Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work 'Jacqueline' (Windblown Jackie) by Ron Galella for USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,910.99). This price was achieved in the auction Legends, Landscapes, and Lovelies | Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ron Galella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Windblown Jackie, October 7, 1971 in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 10,427.96).

Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 'Jacqueline' (Windblown Jackie) von Ron Galella für USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.910,99) erwerben. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ron Galella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Windblown Jackie, October 7, 1971 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 10.427,96).
