Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work ‘Mother And Child, Vienna’ by Rudolf Koppitz for EUR 2,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Important European Collection at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Koppitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bewegungsstudie (Movement Study) in April 2018 with an auction result of USD 399,000.00 (€ 330,462.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit ‘Mother And Child, Vienna’ von Rudolf Koppitz für EUR 2.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important European Collection bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Koppitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bewegungsstudie (Movement Study) im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 399.000,00 (€ 330.462,15).
