A top price for Ryozo Kato
This artwork by Ryozo Kato achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work San Sui Kyo sold for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 64,121.38) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 280,000.00. This high result makes San Sui Kyo the most expensive artwork by Ryozo Kato that we have observed at auctions so far.
