Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Junichiro Sekino was sold in the Japanese Art & Design auction at Christies in London in May 2011. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,144.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Junichiro Sekino have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2001 the work Yoshida Bungoro was auctioned for USD 3,525.00 (€ 4,008.41).
