It achieved a price of EUR 1,920.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Serge Poliakoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rouge bleu jaune in September 2018 with an auction result of CNY 7,560,000.00 (€ 947,114.09).

Die Arbeit Composition rouge, bleue et jaune, 1973 von Serge Poliakoff kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.920,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Serge Poliakoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rouge bleu jaune im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 7.560.000,00 (€ 947.114,09).
