The work Nude by Sha Qi was auctioned at Christies in Taipei in April 2001. It achieved a price of TWD 705,000.00 (€ 24,072.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Admittedly, works by Sha Qi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horses In The Forest in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).

Die Arbeit Nude von Sha Qi kam im April 2001 bei Christies in Taipeh zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von TWD 705.000,00 (€ 24.072,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sha Qi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horses In The Forest im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60).
