Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Girl by the well by Shen Hanwu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2015. The price achieved of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,934.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shen Hanwu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Descendants Of The Dragon in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Girl by the well von Shen Hanwu kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.934,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Hanwu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Descendants Of The Dragon im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60).
