This artwork by Shirin Neshat achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2017. In the Photographs auction, the work Fervor, 2000 sold for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 43,070.27) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shirin Neshat have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Passage in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 269,000.00 (€ 214,684.76).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Shirin Neshat erzielte im Mai 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit Fervor, 2000 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 43.070,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shirin Neshat auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Passage im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 269.000,00 (€ 214.684,76).
