Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Christies in Paris held the auction REGARDS CROISÉS : COLLECTION JEAN-FRANÇOIS & MARIE-ALINE PRAT - EVENING SALE, which included the work Blanc by Simon Hantaï. The price achieved of EUR 607,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Simon Hantaï have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work M.A.4 (Mariale) in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 4,432,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion REGARDS CROISÉS : COLLECTION JEAN-FRANÇOIS & MARIE-ALINE PRAT - EVENING SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blanc von Simon Hantaï zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 607.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Simon Hantaï auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit M.A.4 (Mariale) im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.432.500,00.
