The work Hong Kong Series by Song Yonghong was sold in the Contemporary Chinese Art II auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2008. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 391,500.00 (€ 32,264.55), 57% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Song Yonghong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Production Line in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 2,180,000.00 (€ 189,450.10).

Die Arbeit Hong Kong Series von Song Yonghong wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art II bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 391.500,00 (€ 32.264,55) und damit 57% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Song Yonghong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Production Line im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.180.000,00 (€ 189.450,10).
