Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist/Modern Works on Paper, which included the work Projet De Panneau Pour Le Palais De L'Air (Moteur D'Avion, Tableau De Bord, Hélice) by Sonia Delaunay. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 73,875.00 (€ 86,225.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sonia Delaunay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prismes électriques in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 1,567,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist/Modern Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Projet De Panneau Pour Le Palais De L'Air (Moteur D'Avion, Tableau De Bord, Hélice) von Sonia Delaunay zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 73.875,00 (€ 86.225,36) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sonia Delaunay erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Prismes électriques im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.567.500,00.
