This price was achieved in the auction First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Christies and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stanley Donwood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Residential Nemesis, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 137,500.00 (€ 162,900.36).
