Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings, which included the work Saints Catherine Of Alexandria, Lawrence, Dominic, And Julian by Taddeo di Bartolo. The price achieved of USD 126,000 (€ 108,182) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as USD 100,000 - 150,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Taddeo di Bartolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Triptych: Central Panel: The Madonna And Child With Music-Making Angels, God The Father Above Left Wing: Saint John The Baptist In A Pink Cloak, The Angel Of The Annunciation Above Right Wing: Saint Jerome In Cardinal'S Robes, The Virgin Annunciate Abov in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,889,250 (€
