A top price for Takehisa Yumeji - as previously expected
The work Lady of Tsuboya by Takehisa Yumeji was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,790.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Lady of Tsuboya is the most expensive artwork by Takehisa Yumeji that we have observed at auctions so far.
