Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet in Clerical Script by Tang Di was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 9,000.00 (€ 856.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Di achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Character in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,220,000.00 (€ 315,202.00).
