Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2003 Christies in New York held the auction JAPANESE AND KOREAN ART, which included the work Ducks and reeds by Tani Buncho. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,346.00 (€ 3,069.72). Admittedly, works by Tani Buncho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Geese in marsh in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 37,000.00 (€ 23,410.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion JAPANESE AND KOREAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ducks and reeds von Tani Buncho zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.346,00 (€ 3.069,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tani Buncho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Geese in marsh im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.000,00 (€ 23.410,31).
