The work A Shirabyoshi Dancer by Teisai Hokuba was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2017. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,416.44), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Teisai Hokuba have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Beauties Under Blossoming Cherry Tree in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,289.28).

Die Arbeit A Shirabyoshi Dancer von Teisai Hokuba kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.416,44) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Teisai Hokuba auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Beauties Under Blossoming Cherry Tree im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.289,28).
