Auction result well in line with expectations
The work My Old House by Teng Nee Cheong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,558.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Teng Nee Cheong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Beauty Even Gods Find Ravishing in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 48,854.38).

Die Arbeit My Old House von Teng Nee Cheong kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.558,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 90.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Teng Nee Cheong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Beauty Even Gods Find Ravishing im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 48.854,38).
