In February 2012 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included this untitled work by Teun Hocks. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,582.08), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Teun Hocks; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Zonder titel sold at auction in September 2012 with the realized price of EUR 4,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Teun Hocks zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.582,08) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Teun Hocks; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Zonder titel im September 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 4.750,00.
