Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Sothebys in Doha held the auction Contemporary Art / Doha, which included the work A Political Map Of The World by Thaier Helal. The price achieved of USD 59,375.00 (€ 47,386.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Thaier Helal have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2013 the work Fireworks was auctioned for USD 68,750.00 (€ 52,209.90).

Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Doha die Auktion Contemporary Art / Doha durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Political Map Of The World von Thaier Helal zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 59.375,00 (€ 47.386,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Thaier Helal konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2013 die Arbeit Fireworks für USD 68.750,00 (€ 52.209,90) versteigert.
