The price achieved of USD 315,750.00 (€ 243,109.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Theodore Robinson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Normandy Garden, October in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,496,000.00 (€ 1,112,019.62).
