Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Museo Del Prado 3 by Thomas Struth was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 604,800.00 (€ 67,275.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Struth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pantheon, Rome in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,810,000.00 (€ 1,646,352.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Museo Del Prado 3 von Thomas Struth kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 604.800,00 (€ 67.275,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Struth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pantheon, Rome im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.810.000,00 (€ 1.646.352,56).
