Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Modernist Pueblo by Tony Abeyta was sold in the Modern Native American Art and JewelryFeaturing the Historic Pictorial Beadwork Collection of Joel and Kate Kopp auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 7,680.00 (€ 7,085.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tony Abeyta - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work untitled (pueblo scene with rain showers), which sold at auction in August this year for USD 17,920.00 (€ 16,532.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Modernist Pueblo von Tony Abeyta wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Native American Art and JewelryFeaturing the Historic Pictorial Beadwork Collection of Joel and Kate Kopp bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 7.680,00 (€ 7.085,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Tony Abeyta mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit untitled (pueblo scene with rain showers) beobachtet, die im August diesen Jahres für USD 17.920,00 (€ 16.532,89) versteigert wurde.
