Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lace, 2019 by Tyler Shields was sold in the Erotic Online auction at Sothebys in London in February 2020. The price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,314.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tyler Shields - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mouthful, 2017, which sold at auction in February 2019 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,705.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lace, 2019 von Tyler Shields wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion Erotic Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.314,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tyler Shields mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mouthful, 2017 beobachtet, die im Februar 2019 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.705,20) versteigert wurde.
