A top price for Vaclav Brozïk - as previously expected
The work Ottokar's farewell by Vaclav Brozïk was sold in the Autumn Classic Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2010. The auction ended at the price of SEK 1,000,000.00 (€ 111,462.81), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ottokar's farewell is the most expensive artwork by Vaclav Brozïk that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Ottokar's farewell von Vaclav Brozïk wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Autumn Classic Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 1.000.000,00 (€ 111.462,81) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 800.000,00 – 1.000.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Ottokar's farewell das teuerste Kunstwerk von Vaclav Brozïk, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
