Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2000 Christies in London held the auction RUSSIAN PAINTINGS AND WORKS OF ART, which included the work Study of a Nude by Vladimir Alexandrovich Serov. The price achieved of GBP 3,525.00 (€ 5,615.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vladimir Alexandrovich Serov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study For 'October, Domotkanovo' in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 57,034.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion RUSSIAN PAINTINGS AND WORKS OF ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study of a Nude von Vladimir Alexandrovich Serov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.525,00 (€ 5.615,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Alexandrovich Serov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study For 'October, Domotkanovo' im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 57.034,22).
