In August this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work Composition by Victor Vasarely. The auction ended at the price of DKK 4,000.00 (€ 536.58), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Vasarely achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Altaï Iii in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 565,250.00 (€ 630,588.93).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im August diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Victor Vasarely zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 4.000,00 (€ 536,58) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Vasarely erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Altaï Iii im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 565.250,00 (€ 630.588,93).
