The work Ezinor by Victor Vasarely was sold in the From Magritte to Zao Wou-Ki auction at Sothebys in Paris in October 2018. It achieved a price of EUR 187,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Victor Vasarely - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Altaï Iii, which sold at auction in February 2010 for GBP 565,250.00 (€ 630,588.93).

Die Arbeit Ezinor von Victor Vasarely wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion From Magritte to Zao Wou-Ki bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 187.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Victor Vasarely mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Altaï Iii beobachtet, die im Februar 2010 für GBP 565.250,00 (€ 630.588,93) versteigert wurde.
