Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Christies in London held the auction Art contemporain - Vente du soir, which included the work Gestalt ville by Victor Vasarely. The price achieved of EUR 151,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Victor Vasarely have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Altaï Iii in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 565,250.00 (€ 630,588.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Art contemporain - Vente du soir durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gestalt ville von Victor Vasarely zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 151.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Victor Vasarely auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Altaï Iii im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 565.250,00 (€ 630.588,93).
