This price was achieved in the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Pivovarov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Triptych with a Snake in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 145,250.00 (€ 185,141.64).
