Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Victor Pivovarov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2021. In the Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online auction, the work To Live and To Feel sold for GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,398.08) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Pivovarov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Triptych with a Snake in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 145,250.00 (€ 185,141.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Victor Pivovarov erzielte im September 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online wurde die Arbeit To Live and To Feel für GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.398,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Pivovarov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Triptych with a Snake im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 145.250,00 (€ 185.141,64).
