This artwork by Viktor Vasnetsov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2011. In the Russian Art auction, the work Kiribeevich And Alena Dmitrievna From The Song Of The Merchant Kalashnikov sold for GBP 39,650.00 (€ 43,865.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Viktor Vasnetsov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Bogatyr in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 1,105,250.00 (€ 1,290,266.20).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Viktor Vasnetsov erzielte im Juni 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Art wurde die Arbeit Kiribeevich And Alena Dmitrievna From The Song Of The Merchant Kalashnikov für GBP 39.650,00 (€ 43.865,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Viktor Vasnetsov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Bogatyr im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.105.250,00 (€ 1.290.266,20).
