Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tête de femme (Head of a Woman) by Vu Cao Dam was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 83,045.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vu Cao Dam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femmes au bain (Women Bathing) in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 8,050,000.00 (€ 849,100.57).
