Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Walter Iooss Jr.; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dwight Clark, “The Catch”, San Francisco, CA, 1982 sold at auction in August 2020 with the realized price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 31,417.56).
