Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 9 Tins Of Acrylic Paints; & Coffin Paint by Wang Guangle was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Macau in January 2016. The price achieved of HKD 1,180,000.00 (€ 139,874.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Guangle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work TERRAZZO NO. 12 in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 4,860,000.00 (€ 592,223.48).

Die Arbeit 9 Tins Of Acrylic Paints; & Coffin Paint von Wang Guangle wurde im Januar 2016 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Macau versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.180.000,00 (€ 139.874,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.000.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Guangle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit TERRAZZO NO. 12 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.860.000,00 (€ 592.223,48).
