A top price for Wang Luyan
This artwork by Wang Luyan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work without title sold for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 32,229.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by Wang Luyan that we have observed at auctions so far.
