Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The light from wattle flower, speaking of yellow, this is evening, the river bed at your back by Wang Su was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 102,400.00 (€ 12,016.13). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Su achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Children at Play in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 3,725,000.00 (€ 432,031.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The light from wattle flower, speaking of yellow, this is evening, the river bed at your back von Wang Su kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 102.400,00 (€ 12.016,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Su erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Children at Play im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.725.000,00 (€ 432.031,04).
