Gmelin, a 1808. sold for CHF 720.00 (€ 596.73) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Friedrich Gmelin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blick auf den Lago Albano und den Palazzo Chigi mit der Kirche Santa Maria Assunta in Ariccia. in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Friedrich Gmelin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blick auf den Lago Albano und den Palazzo Chigi mit der Kirche Santa Maria Assunta in Ariccia. im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
