Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Human Form Series by Xu Wentao. The price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 10,536.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 130,000.00. Other works by Xu Wentao have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2010 the work Human Form Series No. 13 was auctioned for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 18,569.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Human Form Series von Xu Wentao zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 10.536,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 90.000,00 – 130.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Xu Wentao konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2010 die Arbeit Human Form Series No. 13 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 18.569,17) versteigert.
