Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mao by Xue Song was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 16,729.85). Admittedly, works by Xue Song have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei in September this year with an auction result of CNY 1,260,000.00 (€ 163,095.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mao von Xue Song wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 16.729,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xue Song auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.260.000,00 (€ 163.095,24).
