Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Yan Lei was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 16,276.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Yan Lei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Arrival: New York No. 1 in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 114,590.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yan Lei kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 16.276,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yan Lei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Arrival: New York No. 1 im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.100.000,00 (€ 114.590,75).
