This artwork by Yang Qiuren achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. In the 20th Century Chinese Art auction, the work Young fellow from Li Tribe sold for HKD 228,000.00 (€ 24,946.56) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yang Qiuren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Young Fellow from Li Tribe, which sold at auction in May 2011 for HKD 596,000.00 (€ 53,314.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Qiuren erzielte im November 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art wurde die Arbeit Young fellow from Li Tribe für HKD 228.000,00 (€ 24.946,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yang Qiuren mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Young Fellow from Li Tribe beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für HKD 596.000,00 (€ 53.314,97) versteigert wurde.
