The work Two Person In The Sunset(Painted In 1977) by Yayoi Kusama was worth HKD 2,880,000.00 (€ 348,281.60) to a buyer in October this year. This price was achieved in the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 480,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yayoi Kusama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pumpkin in April this year with an auction result of HKD 30,000,000.00 (€ 30,635,869.57).

Die Arbeit Two Person In The Sunset(Painted In 1977) von Yayoi Kusama war einem Käufer im Oktober diesen Jahres HKD 2.880.000,00 (€ 348.281,60) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 480.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yayoi Kusama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pumpkin im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 30.000.000,00 (€ 30.635.869,57).
