The work Landscape by Yu Ben was sold in the 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2002. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 334,600.00 (€ 43,412.33), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yu Ben; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A Catch sold at auction in May 2018 with the realized price of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,701.80).

Die Arbeit Landscape von Yu Ben wurde im Oktober 2002 in der Auktion 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 334.600,00 (€ 43.412,33) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yu Ben; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A Catch im Mai 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.701,80).
