Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a young lady by Yu Ben was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2003. The price achieved of HKD 41,825.00 (€ 4,355.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Ben achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Catch in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,701.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a young lady von Yu Ben kam im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 41.825,00 (€ 4.355,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Ben erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Catch im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.701,80).
