Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sacrifice Of Liu Hulan by Yu Fan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2008. It achieved a price of HKD 271,500.00 (€ 22,375.03), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Fan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Silver Haired Horse, which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 103,000.00 (€ 65,169.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sacrifice Of Liu Hulan von Yu Fan kam im April 2008 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 271.500,00 (€ 22.375,03) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Fan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Silver Haired Horse beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 103.000,00 (€ 65.169,25) versteigert wurde.
